Family Pass

Port Stephens Koala Sanctuary is a unique opportunity to visit koalas in their natural habitat. Experience our self guided Sanctuary Storywalk, view the state of the art Koala Hospital, and venture onto the elevated Skywalk. Every visit funds koala conservation programs and vital rehabilitation work. Enjoy all day admission for  2 Adults and 2 Children (3 to 17 years) with a Family Pass.

The Sanctuary Skywalk and viewing platform is a 225 metre in length elevated pathway and viewing platform, offering a unique ‘tree top’ perspective into the koala’s natural habitat, a perfect photo opportunity and educational experience - closes at 3.45pm.

The kids will enjoy ‘Kasey’s Tale’ the story of koalas, as they explore the 250 metre interactive Sanctuary Story Walk filled with large scale sculptures, habitat and local environment information.

View into the state-of-the-art Koala Hospital where dedicated staff work to protect and care for koalas.  Take a look through the hospital viewing window, depending on what is happening on the day of your visit -  you might be lucky enough to see the veterinary team at work.

Finish your visit with a stop at  Fat Possum Kiosk  that offers a range of ‘grab and go’ eats and treats and snacks. Or take home a memento of your visit as you browse through the retail kiosk that offers a variety of quality gifts and souvenirs of the Port Stephens Koala Sanctuary.

Family Pass Ticket Information

Family Passes are for 2 Adults and 2 Children (3 to 17 years)

Family Pass Tickets provide all day general admission from 9am till 4pm (last entry at 3pm, Sanctuary Skywalk closes at 3.45pm)

Note: Children under 17 years of age must be accompanied and supervised by an Adult.
Infants are 2 years and under and are FREE
